Il blues accende l'Arena Santa Giuliana
Quella di ieri sera è stata senza dubbio una serata da incorniciare. Note potenti e platea gremita come per le grandi occasioni, hanno fatto si che la quarta serata di Umbria Jazz risultasse un successo. A salire sul palco per il primo concerto, la talentuosa e mai banale Ruthie Foster, che con la sua formazione ha saputo trasmettere tutto il calore che un genere come il blues sa dare. Una performance perfetta e che ha fatto da apripista ad una leggenda come Buddy Guy, che alla soglia degli 80 anni, si è dimostrato più che all'altezza di una palco importante come quello di Umbria Jazz. Un escalation continua di note ha portato Guy a flirtare con il pubblico e sopratutto con la sua chitarra, protagonista indiscussa della scena. Il pubblico non è stato di certo a guardare, e tra un coro e un'ovazione, è stato premiato ritrovandosi Buddy Guy in mezzo alla platea. Davvero una serata potente e piena di emozione, conferma di come Buddy Guy sia senza dubbio una leggenda del blues, un po' come quel B.B.King tanto amato da UJ e che lo portò per la prima volta a Perugia
